An investigation is underway after a 30-year-old woman was found dead at a tent site in a wooded area in Connecticut.

The Woodbridge Police Department announced on Monday, Nov. 28, that it is investigating the untimely death of the woman, whose identity was not released.

On Sunday, Nov. 27, the woman was found deceased at a site where she had been residing in Woodbridge in a wooded area bordered by Litchfield Turnpike (Route 69), Pond Lily Avenue, and the Wilbur Cross Parkway, police reported.

Police said the incident is isolated, and there is no immediate danger to the community.
